Communication - Funds Contribution

Objective:
This is regarding the social service activities carried out by some of our friends in the group. Though our friends has been contributing funds to help in this regard, we do not have a formalized list of volunteers. Also we want to create a commitment from our friends which will drive & motivate us in getting stabilized funds on a periodic basis.

Proposal:
We are planning to collect the funds thru different mode on a monthly basis. You can either hand over the amount that you want to donate every month to Veera (or thru any other person who could reach him) OR do an online transfer. Currently, we do not have a fixed account for our group for these activities separately. But we are working on the background to get an individual account dedicated for this which will happen pretty sooner. In the interim, we would like to use Karthik's account for any online transfer that you want to do.

Information:
Friends who live in India can make their online payment to ICICI account & those who live in US could transfer the funds to Bank of America account. Also please mention "Siding Funds" as the transaction remarks when you do an online transfer & send a mail immediately to Karthik mentioning the same @ rkarthik80@yahoo.com. Please remember that you can set an automatic fund transfer as monthly payments with the specified amount. Hence one time action will help in transferring funds automatically on a monthly basis.

Benefits:
This will help us in planning our activities much better. Helps the volunteers to contribute the funds in a easier way. Also helps us in committing to a expense that we can take care for any orphanages on a regular basis.

Reporting:
Karthik will be publishing the monthly report on the fund collection so that everyone is kept informed on the fund collected & how it was distributed for the social causes.

The kid in the center was thrown into sewage.In that incident ,she drank too much of sewage that had affected her teeth and injured her head-Balagurukulam

Ganesh donated Rs.2500 for balagurukulam which included Rs.1500 worth monthly soap requirement for the kids the rest of the amount was done by karthi.

Balagurukulam-a wonderful home.

Balagurukulam-Sathya's finds a new home and donation made towards it.

Rs.1000 was donated towards a home called 'Balagurukulam'.It has five babies ranging in the age of two months to eight months.The founder says that he wants to grow a child from its birth.Most of them are brought up from within a week of birth.The hard part is some babies were found in the dustbin.

He says that he wants to built a strong nation.He wants the visitor's to come more regularly give these kids love and affection,more than money.The best thing that one can give to this kids is a very quality education.
I will personally insist people visit this place, such a homely environment where visitors are free to spend as much time with small babies, feed them as if they are yours

Sathya was the first one to find the home and visit.Gangai,suresh,sathya,violin karthick,veera visited the place on 30-7-2006 .
